2017 Veterinary Behavior Symposium (VBS)

The American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB) is pleased to announce the 2017 Veterinary Behavior Symposium (VBS).  The Symposium provides a forum for sharing cutting-edge, original research in the field of animal behavior. Veterinarians, applied animal behaviourists and scientists from related disciplines are welcome and encouraged to submit abstracts. Clinical case reports will also be considered for presentation and discussion.

All presenters will receive half price registration for the Symposium. There is no travel stipend or other compensation provided.

The 2017 VBS will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017, immediately preceding the AVMA Annual Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.

Important Dates: 

• January 9, 2017 – All Abstract Submissions Due
• March 23, 2017 – Program Selections Announced
• April 10, 2017 – Speakers Confirm Acceptance/Attendance
• May 8, 2017 – Final Proceedings Due
• July 20, 2017 – Veterinary Behavior Symposium in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
